Memorial Day Weekend in Indiana signifies something special. For nearly 100 years the city of Indianapolis has been steeped in a tradition of speed. This year the Indianapolis 500 will be held at the famed “Brickyard” for the 99th time. People will gather; drivers will jockey for their chance at sipping the milk in victory lane at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and TV cameras will be there to catch all the action.

The Class of 2015 will be formally inducted at a luncheon at Anderson Speedway the afternoon of the 67th Pay less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM.

The “Class of 2015” includes: Mike Bowman, Rick Dawson, Max Dolder, and Denny England.

Nolen Racing to Field Entries for Coons, Elliott and Hollingsworth

As he begins his 26th season as a USAC Silver Crown car owner, Greenwood, Ind.'s Gene Nolen has set two high goals for his Whiteland, Ind.-based racing team: win the USAC Silver Crown national championship and the Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM pavement sprint car race May 23 at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Ind.

Hoppes Stops Lee’s Streak in Pro Compact Action

Markleville driver Randy Hoppes was able to hold off a charge from Adam Lee midway through Marcum Welding Pro Compact racing action to record his first win of the season.

Lee, who swept the opening night action and two weeks ago won the Vore’s Compact Touring Series at Anderson Speedway, appeared headed for another big night.
