The month of May means festivals, fun and racing in Anderson/Madison County! The festivities include the 28th running of the Mayors Cup Grand Prix Kart Races, Walk for Life, Great Food, Golf, Classic Car Festival and much more!
Of course, the month of May Grand Finale will be the 75th Lucas Oil Little 500 presented by UAW Sprint Car Race on Saturday, May 27 at 8 p.m.
Be sure and attend all the events and of course, the race. The month of May here in Anderson is not only to celebrate our heritage and love for racing and all the activities that go along with it, but many of the events are held to support local charities.
The Little 500 Festival has raised over 2 million for local non-profit organizations. Since 1988, the Festival has provided Madison County residents and visitors enough activities to fill the month of May. The goal of the Little 500 Festival is to create a celebration that provides family entertainment, inspires pride in our community and promotes the history of the historic Little 500 at the world’s fastest quarter-mile oval of Anderson Speedway.
The Little 500 Festival committee appreciates any volunteers that want to help with the success of the 36th Annual Little 500 Festival in May of 2023! For More information, call 765-642-0206 ext 121
