Tony Elliott Marker Unveiled at PRI Trade Show

A marker honoring Tony Elliott, a two-time USAC National Sprint Car Series champion and Little 500 Legend who died in a plane crash in 2015, will be unveiled on the IndyCar stage at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 8, the opening day of the the annual Performance Racing Industry trade show at the Indiana Convention Center. In spring 2017, the marker will be installed in Warsaw. The unveiling is open to the public.

Anderson Speedway Releases Tentative 2017 Schedule

Action Entertainment has released the tentative 2017 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates its 70th season on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. The Speedway will continue to showcase Late Models, Figure 8’s, Thunder Roadsters, and ThunderCars. The Pro Compacts will be returning to stock Front Wheel Drives this season and the Street Stocks will be making their return to the line-up.

Sage Scores First Anderson Speedway Win

Ohio driver Josh Sage held off Andrew Teepe in a two-lap shootout to capture his first Street Stock win at Anderson Speedway.

Turkey Bash Wraps Up 2016 Racing Season

In what has become a November tradition Anderson Speedway wraps up the 2016 racing season with the annual “Turkey Bash” event. Feature racing in five different divisions is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. with adult tickets priced at $12 with $4 admission cost for children between the ages of 6 and 12.

Anderson Speedway Prepares for 2017 Season

We have been receiving multiple questions regarding the status of the track. Apparently an article was created on a hoax website stating that the track has been sold. The track is not for sale and the track is already planning for a great 2017 season. Anderson Speedway is close to releasing its 2017 schedule and rules within the next few weeks. Anderson Speedway Announces Change To Turkey Bash Schedule

Anderson Speedway Officials have released a new schedule of events for the Turkey Bash on Saturday, November 5. The ThunderCars have been removed from the schedule. Street Stocks and Front Wheel Drive Figure 8's have been added to the program. The feature line ups will be determined by a draw. The same car participating in two different feature events will be required to pay a $25 entry fee.
