Modifieds top racing card

ANDERSON – With a change in the racing program this Saturday the USA Tire Modifieds are the top division in action at Anderson Speedway.

The Outlaw Figure-8 race has been removed from the schedule, but fans will still be treated to exciting racing in three divisions.

This is the penultimate race of the season with the All Star Midgets visiting Anderson Speedway on Oct. 10 for the final event of the year.

The USA Tire Modifieds have produced some of the most contested races on the high-banked quarter-mile oval over the past two years.

This year Josh Poore secured the season championship with two feature wins while Josh Ebbert Jr. claimed rookie of the year honors in a close battle.

Dalton Conner won three Modified events in 2026, including the 100-lap feature with Tyler DeHart scoring his first career feature victory.

The Knapp Supply Ford Division will be competing in a 25-lap feature on the Figure-8 course.

Curtis Chapman has won two of the three Figure-8 races for the division including the 78th running of the National Crown. Rickie Tharp also visited the Hoosier Lottery Victory Lane with a feature win in 2026.

The Mini-Outlaws will be making their second appearance at Anderson Speedway in a 30-lap event.

Alex Phillips emerged as the first-ever win in the division at Anderson Speedway with Rodney Smith and Mike Coop rounding out the top three.
