Anderson Speedway Announces Change To Turkey Bash Schedule

Anderson Speedway Officials have released a new schedule of events for the Turkey Bash on Saturday, November 5. The ThunderCars have been removed from the schedule. Street Stocks and Front Wheel Drive Figure 8's have been added to the program. The feature line ups will be determined by a draw. The same car participating in two different feature events will be required to pay a $25 entry fee. Anderson Speedway Releases Tentative 2017 Schedule

Action Entertainment has released the tentative 2017 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates its 70th season on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. The Speedway will continue to showcase Late Models, Figure 8’s, Thunder Roadsters, and ThunderCars. The Pro Compacts will be returning to stock Front Wheel Drives this season and the Street Stocks will be making their return to the line-up.

Racing Postponed This Weekend

Mother nature continues her variety of weather this week as rain and cold temperatures are forecasted for this Saturday. All weather sites are predicting rain for the entire day which has forced Anderson Speedway officials to postpone Saturday’s racing action. Optimism at the speedway abounds however, as temperatures are expected to climb to the 80’s next week.

Hudson Looking to Continue Winning Ways in Street Stock 200

A year ago Brett Hudson captured the Champion Racing Association’s Street Stock 200 at Anderson Speedway and he will be looking to make it two in a row. The CRA Street Stock 200, the second event in the Five Crown series, will be contested on Sport Clips Night at the track this Saturday.

LANE LEADS CRA STREET STOCKS RETURN TO ANDERSON SPEEDWAY

For the third consecutive week at Anderson Speedway a touring series of the Champion Racing Association will be visiting the historic racing venue for the first time in 2015.

Hutson Claims PGG 100

Fort Wayne driver Billy Hutson accomplished a goal he’s been striving for since 2006 at Anderson Speedway. Over the past few years Hutson has set fast time during qualifications for the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, but victory always eluded him. Hutson, on Saturday, passed early leader Jimmy Kirby III on lap 48 to win for the first time on the high banked quarter-mile oval in the PGG 100.
