Noblesville teenager Chris Hacker is making a name for himself on race tracks in Indiana, but a bigger accomplishment was raising the funds to send 24 kids to camp.

Hacker suffered from a brachial plexus Injury to his left arm during birth. The brachial plexus is a network of nerves that control the muscles of the shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers.

Muncie’s Tyler Marsh grabbed the lead with 11 laps remaining and then survived three restarts to capture the Champion Racing Association’s 75-lap Street Stock feature at Anderson Speedway.

For almost 50 laps Jason Atkinson was dominating the race but suddenly slowed on lap 63, which propelled Marsh into the lead.

Racing action returns to Anderson Speedway on Saturday, September 6 with Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks, NASH FM ThunderCars and Pro Compacts.

The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks will make their fifth appearance at Anderson Speedway on Saturday. Drivers that have earned CRA victories this season include Josh Poore (May 3), Bret Miles Jr. (June 21), Jason Atkinson (July 12) and Dustin Burge (August 2).

Aaron Pierce turned in a dominating performance to win the longest winged sprint car feature ever at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, August 30.

Pierce took the lead from Ryan Gillenwater on lap 43 of the MoFab Labor Day 200 presented by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino for the Must See Racing winged sprint series.

Logan Huggler dominated the Mel Kenyon Midget Series to record his first career feature win. It was a good night for Huggler who also recorded his first ever heat win.

While Huggler was pulling away from the field, there was a five -car battle for the second spot.

Pierce took the lead from Ryan Gillenwater on lap 43 of the MoFab Labor Day 200 presented by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino for the Must See Racing winged sprint series. Starting third Pierce got inside of Jimmy McCune on lap 37 to move into the second spot.

Anderson Speedway will host the inaugural MoFab Labor Day 200 presented by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino featuring the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) on Saturday, August 30. Also part of the racing program will be the Mel Kenyon Midgets who will do battle in a 40-lap make-up feature and the scheduled 30-lap main event.

The Winged Sprint Cars of the MSR Xtreme Sprint Series will return to Anderson Speedway for the third and final appearance of the 2014 season. Florida’s Troy DeCaire earned the May victory with Daleville’s Aaron Pierce winning the August event at the quarter-mile oval.

Anderson Speedway officials postponed the Wick’s Retro Weekend on Saturday, August 23 due to persistent rain showers.

The McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models in the PGG 100 presented by Thompson Builders will now be run on September 13. The Grant Fritz/Greg Dietzen Memorial has been reset for October 4 with the Mel Kenyon Midgets running double features on Saturday, August 30.

Anderson Speedway returns to racing action on Saturday, August 23 with the Wick’s Pies Retro Weekend that showcases an exciting on track racing lineup along with Vintage Car Show with Classic Car, Motorcycle and Tractor Show.

The 18th Annual Grant Fritz/Greg Dietzen Memorial featuring the Legends along with the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models in the PGG 100 presented by Thompson Builders headline the on-track action. The Mel Kenyon Midgets and Thunder Roadsters will also be part of the racing lineup.
