Anderson Speedway returns to racing action on Saturday, August 23 with the Wick’s Pies Retro Weekend that showcases an exciting on track racing lineup along with Vintage Car Show with Classic Car, Motorcycle and Tractor Show.
The 18th Annual Grant Fritz/Greg Dietzen Memorial featuring the Legends along with the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models in the PGG 100 presented by Thompson Builders headline the on-track action. The Mel Kenyon Midgets and Thunder Roadsters will also be part of the racing lineup.

October Schedule Adjustments
Anderson Speedway officials have announced changes to the racing programs on October 4 and 11 along with the addition of an event on October 25.
Pierce Wins MSR Xtreme Sprint Series Feature
Daleville’s Aaron Pierce used a fast race car and lots of patience late in the race to win the winged spring car feature at Anderson Speedway on Saturday.
It was Pierce’s first win in a winged sprint car at Anderson Speedway since 2010 and third overall. His return to victory lane came in a dominating fashion.
Gossar Repeats in NASH FM ThunderCars
Thanks to an assist from his father Trent Gossar made it consecutive wins at Anderson Speedway in the NASH-FM Thunder Car division.
Tom Gossar and Morte Lewis started on the front row of the feature as a result of an inversion of six from qualifying. At the start Tom Gossar took the lead with Trent running second and point’s leader Robbie Wyman in third.
Phipps Sweeps Front Wheel Drive Oval Action
It was a season firsts for Ronnie Phipps in the Front Wheel Drive Oval Division last Saturday at Anderson Speedway. For the first time this year Phipps set fast time during qualifications, won his first heat of the season and topped the night off with his initial feature victory.
Aaron Pierce Dominates Winged Sprints Feature
Daleville’s Aaron Pierce won in a winged sprint car at Anderson Speedway for the first time since 2010 and returned to victory lane in dominating fashion.
Pierce jumped into the lead at the start and led all 50 laps en route to winning by 1.6-seconds over Davey Hamilton Jr.
Winged Sprint Cars Return on Saturday Night
Anderson Speedway returns to racing action on Saturday, August 16 with the second appearance from the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series. The NASH FM ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drives Oval divisions will also be part of the racing program.
Tunny Claims 65th National Crown
Ben Tunny is no stranger to winning at Anderson Speedway adding the 65th running of the National Crown to his resume on Saturday.
Tunny set fast time and led all 100 laps to record his sixth career win at Anderson Speedway. Tunney becomes the first driver to win the National Crown and the three-hour Figure-8 championship at the Indianapolis Speedrome.
Dugger Finally Claims Roadsters Win
Greenfield driver Doug Dugger finally found his way to a feature win in the Thunder Roadster Division at Anderson Speedway.
Dugger had finished second in three consecutive races and celebrated his first feature win of 2014 in the Tim Thompson Nationwide Insurance Winner’s Circle on Saturday.
Eaton Scores Vores Win
Gary Eaton battled his way to the feature win in the Vores Compact Touring Series at Anderson Speedway holding off Ron Masters by less than a second.
Eaton started on the outside of the front row and jumped into the lead challenged by Chris Jennings and fast qualifier Larry Hughes Jr.
