2nd Annual Turkey Bash on Saturday Afternoon
For the second consecutive year, Anderson Speedway will host the Turkey Bash during Thanksgiving Weekend. The special event scheduled on Saturday Afternoon, November 29 will feature Street Stocks, ThunderCars, Mini Cups along with Front Wheel Drives in Oval and Figure 8 action.
Dane Gets First title
Jerry Dane set the tone for the Front Wheel Drive Oval division but as the year progressed a number of drivers stepped up to challenge for the championship.
Dane won the first three features to open the season but then faltered in the middle stages of the season before rounding out the year with six feature wins and his first Anderson Speedway championship.

Phipps Drives to Pro Compact Crown
When the Pro Compact class was added to the Anderson Speedway schedule during the 2014 season, Ron Phipps and car owner Kevin Harmon didn’t plan on running for a title.
But when the season ended it was Phipps wearing the champions crown with Jeff Williams driving to a feature win in the final point race of the season for the team.

Chapman Repeats at NASH FM ThunderCar Champ
Curtis Chapman made it consecutive championships in the NASH-FM Thunder Car division but the outcome wasn’t decided until the final race of the year.

The 2014 racing season ended with a bang Saturday evening at Anderson Speedway as fans enjoyed the EDCO Welding & Hydraulics fireworks show to mark the conclusion to the season and the end of the Stoops Freightliner Night of Thrills.
