Angie Goodin wore a broad smile following her feature win Saturday at Anderson Speedway in Indy FastKarts competition, but it was she had to work for.

Springport driver Jimmy Kirby capped off an incredible season with his 8th feature win in the ThunderCar Division. Kirby set fast time at all nine events and aside for a racing incident in a heat race early in 2021 won a total of eight feature races.

Teenage driver Jack Dossey III had a dream season in his first year in competition in the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models. Dossey not only won the championship but walked away with Rookie of the Year honors at Anderson Speedway in 2014.

Four more entries have made their way into the Anderson Speedway office for the 68th Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW GM. A total of five drivers and teams have submitted entries for the May 28 race which is topped by three-time winner Jeff Bloom, 2015 Rookie of the year Davey Hamilton Jr. and current Little 500 track record holder Aaron Pierce.

For drivers competing in the Noble Wine & Spirits ThunderCar Division this Saturday marks their biggest race of the year. The ThunderCars will be joined by the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drives and the Legends.

Taylor Webb took the lead from his brother with 17 laps remaining to win the 18th running of the Grant Fritz/Walt Dietzen Memorial for the Legends division Sunday at Anderson Speedway.

John Robbins led the first 12 laps but slipped in turn two which allowed Alec and Taylor Webb to move past on the back straight.

Alec Webb held off his brother through three restarts, but on lap 58 Taylor Webb got inside coming off the fourth corner to take the point.
