For 35 laps no driver was able to pull away to a clear advantage at Anderson Speedway on Saturday in the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Model race won by Jeff Marcum.

The Interstate Auto Auction Figure 8 Madness show, presented by Star 106.9 FM, saw Mark Tunny score the Interstae Auto Auction WOFS figure 8 feature win Saturday evening at Anderson Speedway before a huge Fourth of July crowd. Jeff Williams took the win in the Marcum Welding Pro Compacts while Jeff Swinford captured the Harts Auto Center figure 8 and Jonathon Pitts surviving the Trailer Race figure 8.

In what has become a long standing tradition at Anderson Speedway the track will celebrate the nation’s birthday with fireworks and Figure 8 action this Saturday night.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday with the Pull-a-Part 200 the third race in the Champion Racing Association Street Stock Division Triple Crown. Anderson Speedway is once again hosting the final race in the separate point fund for the Street Stock competitors.

Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, which will take place at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, July 18. The 300 lap event will pay $10,000 to win plus bonuses and will be the second event of the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which will pay a driver $100,000 bonus if a driver can win the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, the Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway and the 44th Annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway. There is a $10,000 bonus if a driver can only win two of the events. Erik Jones won the Battle at Berlin 251 this past Tuesday.
