The top four in points for the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models will be settled this weekend at Anderson Speedway.

Matt Tharp scored his first feature race of the season to cap off his championship season in the Marcum Welding Pro Compact division at Anderson Speedway.

The popular ThunderCar Division returns to Anderson Speedway this weekend as part of the Intersect Championships presented by the Indy Fuel. Championships will be decided in the Harts Auto Figure-8, Marcums Welding Pro Compacts and Thunder Roadsters.

Anderson Speedway released the purse for the ThunderCar events planned for Saturday, September 26 and Saturday October 17. The purse can be found here or at the bottom of the home page under The Backgate Section.

Finley Herman Lane 79 of Poneto passed away at 8:24 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Finley was born on October 19, 1935 in Poneto to Donald & Helen B. (Brunegraff) Lane. He graduated from Bluffton High School with the class of 1953. He worked for Trailways in Fort Wayne for many years. He started out working with his father in theater promotions, and continued over the last 50 years. He worked at many race tracks and racing organizations over the Midwest since 1959. He was proud to be inducted in the Little 500 Hall of Fame.

Jacob Garrigus claimed his first career Interstate Auto Auction WOFS feature event Saturday night at Anderson Speedway, and he did it in dominating fashion.
