There is already lots of talent on the list of entries to date for the 50th Annual Redbud 300 Presented by Mitch Smith Auto Service and Perfecto, which will take place at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, July 16th. The ARCA/CRA Super Series is celebrating its 20th season of competition in 2016, Anderson Speedway is where the series had its first ever event on Saturday, April 26, 1997. The Redbud 300 will be the 60th series event that Anderson Speedway has hosted since that Saturday in 1997, the most of any track the series has raced at.

The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the Anderson Speedway McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models are set to battle it out for bragging rights in the biggest event of the season for both groups, the PGG Shootout 150 this Friday at Anderson Speedway, located in Anderson, Indiana, as part of the prestigious 50th Annual Redbud 300 Weekend Presented by Mitch Smith Auto Service and Perfecto. The event will pay $2,500 to win, the highest winning payoff in the 11 year history of the CRA Late Model Sportsman, down to $225 to start.

A year ago Clayton Gaines won his first Kenyon Midgets feature win with a dramatic last lap pass, his second career victory at Anderson Speedway on Saturday was dramatically different.

The Mel Kenyon Midget Series highlights Anderson Speedway’s Summer Special this Saturday. Adult tickets are priced at $5 during Summer Special night with racing in the Kenyon Midgets, ThunderCars, Marcum's Welding Pro Compacts and Front Wheel Drive Figure-8.

Indianapolis driver Mark Tunny made it two July 4th wins in the Outlaw Figure-8 feature at Anderson Speedway on Monday. On Figure-8 Madness night presented by Star 106.9 and the Madison County Visitors Bureau, Mark Tunny took the lead at the start of the 50-lap feature chased by Ben Tunny.

Jeff Marcum hit on the right car set-up at Anderson Speedway to capture the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Model feature event on Saturday. Anderson Speedway is back in action with Figure-8 Madness on July 4th starting at 7 p.m. with figure-8 competition in four divisions and a spectacular fireworks show.

Anderson Speedway will be celebrating the July 4th weekend with two big nights of racing and the traditional spectacular fireworks show on Independence Day.

Officials have released changes to the 2016 schedule for those competing in the Marcum's Welding Pro Compacts division. Front Wheel Drive Figure 8's have been added to July 4 Figure 8 Madness presented by Madison County Visitors Bureau and Star 106.9. They have also been added to Saturday Night Racing on July 9. The Marcum's Pro Compact rules and the payout will be the same for the Front Wheel Drive Figure 8. Competitors may not use the same cars in both the Marcum's Welding Pro Compacts oval event and the Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 event.

New Castle driver Jason Atkinson dominated in the second half to win the last of the Triple Crown events for the Champion Racing Association Street Stocks at Anderson Speedway.
