The Season Championships presented by Intersect will feature McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, Street Stocks and Thunder Roadsters at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, September 20.

Jack Dossey lll enters the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models finale with a 65 point lead over Billy Van Meter. Dossey has a division best nine top-10 finishes while Van Meter has posted six top 10s during the 2014 campaign. Third in the standings is Jeff Marcum with Kent Baledge and Rob Allman rounding out the top five in the point standings.

The staff of Anderson Speedway is sad to report the news of the passing of Maridene Adams on Wednesday, January 28. She was the spouse of Denny Adams, the long-time “Voice” of Anderson Speedway and mother of office manager Jessica Larson, the youngest of three children. Chris competed in the early years of the ThunderCar division and Jodi has spent timing roaming the pit area gathering information for her dad and occasionally helping in the office.

Maridene was a former employee of the speedway and spent nearly 40 years attending races with her husband.
