Nick Warner continued his dominating season in the Front Wheel Drive Figure-8 Division winning for the eighth time in nine races. For Warner last Saturday at Anderson Speedway marked his sixth pole position, fourth heat victory and eighth feature win. It also marked the fourth time that he swept the competition by setting fast time and then scoring heat and feature wins.

Ben Tunny is no stranger to winning at Anderson Speedway adding the 65th running of the National Crown to his resume on Saturday. Tunny set fast time and led all 100 laps to record his sixth career win at Anderson Speedway. Tunny becomes the first driver to win the National Crown and the three-hour Figure-8 championship.

One of the marquee events at Anderson Speedway is set for Saturday, August 9 when the 65th National Crown will take place featuring the Winged Outlaw Figure 8 Series (WOFS). The Front Wheel Drives Figure 8′s, Thunder Roadsters and Vore’s Compact Touring Series will also be in action.

Dustin Burge inherited the lead with 15 laps remaining and went on to win his first Champion Racing Association Street Stock feature of the year. Burge, the defending series champion, had to survive two restarts to record the victory on Murat Shrine Night at Anderson Speedway by first holding off Jason Atkinson and then Calvin Parham.
