There will be two different forms of entertainment at Anderson Speedway during the Labor Day weekend sponsored by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
Action starts on Saturday with the return of the Must See Racing Winged Sprints featuring two 25-lap qualifying races and a 50-lap feature. Aaron Pierce and Jimmy McCune have scored victories this year at Anderson Speedway.
There are 17 teams pre-entered for the Saturday event including Pay Less Little 500 winner Jeff Bloom, Chris Neuenschwander and Grant Galloway.
The Interstate Auto Auction WOFS Outlaw Figure-8 Series returns for their first visit since the July 4 holiday.
Veteran Ben Tunney is the most recent winner with defending champion Mike Hadley winning in April.
Mike Tunney, Mike St. John, Mike Riddle Jr., Jacob Garrigus, Bruce McFall and current Harts Auto Figure-8 point leader Jeff Swinford are expected to compete in the 50-lap feature.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with qualifying at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.
The IWF Wrestling series returns Sunday for a night of action in the ring featuring Rikishi, Warlord, Barbarian Bushwacker Luke Williams and Rock and Roll Express.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with an autograph session at 6 p.m. and wrestling action at 7 p.m.
Adult tickets for the IWF show are $10 in advance, $12 on Sunday and ringside seats priced at $20 per person.
