Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, which will take place at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, July 18. The 300 lap event will pay $10,000 to win plus bonuses and will be the second event of the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which will pay a driver $100,000 bonus if a driver can win the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, the Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway and the 44th Annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway. There is a $10,000 bonus if a driver can only win two of the events. Erik Jones won the Battle at Berlin 251 this past Tuesday.
The top drivers from the ARCA/CRA Super Series will once again battle some of the top late model drivers from around the country. Veteran CRA competitor Eddie Van Meter got the win in the April 26th ARCA/CRA Super Series event at Anderson Speedway, ending a nine year drought with the series.
The Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend will begin with an optional open practice on Thursday, July 16th, pits will open at 4pm with practice going from 5 to 8pm. On Friday, July 17th, pits will open at 12noon, there will be an optional open practice for the Redbud 300 cars only from 1:30 until 3:30pm. Practice for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance and Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS will begin at 4:30pm, with qualifying at 6:15pm. Friday night’s race program will begin at 7:30 pm and will include a 100 lap event for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and a 75 lap event for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman.
Pits open on Saturday, July 18th at 10am, there will be a two hour practice for the ARCA/CRA Super Series cars from 1 to 3pm, with qualifying for the Redbud 300 beginning at 4:15pm. There will be an on track autograph session with all the drivers starting at 6pm, the green flag for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 will drop at 7:30pm.
The advanced entry deadline for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 will be Saturday, July 11th entries received after that date will have to pay an additional $25 late entry fee.
