Anderson Speedway Suffers Great Loss

Anderson Speedway officials are heartbroken to learn of the passing of our great friend and longtime concessionaire, Chuck Huffman. Chuck along with his family served the Anderson Speedway racing community for over 50 years in our concession stands. Fans enjoyed their breaded tenderloins, flat tires, lemon shake ups and many other items, but what they enjoyed the most was the kindness and smiles shared by the Huffman Family, especially Chuck. We will miss seeing our friend sitting in turn two on race nights and send our condolences to his family. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Gary McCaslin of Aletheia Fellowship officiating. Graveside rites and burial will follow the service in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. We think Chuck’s son Brad said it best. “The void is huge” but we will cherish the memories we have of our friend and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
