Jared Owen has joined Anderson Speedway, home of the Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW – GM, as Executive Assistant to the President.
Owen will serve as an assistant to Rick Dawson, president of Anderson Speedway and Action Entertainment, providing consulting on events, assisting on race nights and helping with race scheduling.
For the past year, Owen served as an intern for Anderson Speedway. His passion for racing, desire to learn and his progressive forethought of the industry landed him a position at the track that was designed especially for him.
“Jared will be a tremendous asset to Anderson Speedway,” according to Speedway President, Rick Dawson. “ His insight and expertise have already proved valuable and his dedication to the Speedway and Sport is evident. His presence will provide huge benefits as the Speedway grows into the future. We are fortunate to have someone with his talents as a part of our family”
Owen will graduate from IUPUI this May with a bachelor’s degree in tourism convention and event management with a minor in business.
