ANDERSON – Three touring series will be making their final appearances at Anderson Speedway during First Responders night.
Members of local police, fire and emergency management agencies will be admitted for free.
The Champion Racing Association Sportsman Late Models will be taking part in the 75-lap Tanner Ballard Classic.
Ballard passed away last April and was a regular competitor with the Champion Racing Association during events at the local speedway.
Multi-time track champion Jeff Marcum will be looking to score his second CRA victory of the year holding off Jason Shively and Noah Engdahl.
Engdahl scored his first career CRA win in the Madison County 200 with JP Crabtree and Ryder Van Alst rounding out the top three.
Some of the most competitive racing of the year has been with the CRA Street Stocks where Dalton Conner has prevailed in both 150 laps races with current point leader Alan Williams Jr. winning the first visit of the series.
Andrew Cook, Andrew Teepe, Jacob McElfresh, Jimmy Kirby and Josh Ebbert Jr. have all recorded podium finishes.
The Street Stocks will be competing in a 75-lap feature.
The Vores Compact Touring Series returns for a 100-lap event with Bo Hoelscher winning the first visit to Anderson Speedway with Karter Stark and Trent Gossar finishing on the podium.
Jake Albright won the 2024 100-lap race with Tom Gossar placing second.
Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $15, $5 for children 6 to 12 years old and free under five.
