In what has become an annual event at Anderson Speedway three traveling series will be making their first appearance this Saturday.
The Champion Racing Association Sportsman Late Models and Street Stocks will be joined by the Vores Compact Touring Series.
It will be the first race of 2025 for the CRA Sportsman Late Models.
Local track champion Jeff Marcum has been the driver to beat on the high banked quarter-mile oval in recent years
Marcum won all four races in 2024 and his 16 career victories is the most by any driver.
He was pressed last year by JP Crabtree, who recorded two runner-up finishes and Cassten Everidge who set fast time twice during qualifying and came home in second at both races.
Everidge set fast time during the first appearance of the Sportsman Late Models at Anderson Speedway earlier this year in a race won by Marcum.
The CRA Street Stocks will be competing for the second time in 2025 after opening the season in Tennessee in a race won by Alan Williams Jr.
Last year four different drivers visited victory lane at Anderson in the division.
James Kirby, Ryan Amonett, Andrew Teepe and Josh Poore all recorded feature wins. Dalton Conner finished second three times and added a third place showing a year ago.
The Vores Compact Touring Series is expecting more than 30 entries for the 50-lap race.
Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and free for all kids 5 and under.
