The City of Anderson Little 500 Festival is now accepting applications for the 2018 Little 500 Festival Queen. The Little 500 Festival generates community awareness and excitement preceding the Pay Less Super Markets Little 500 presented by UAW-GM sprint car race.
The nationally sanctioned race draws thousands of spectators and sprint car drivers annually from as far away as California, Florida, Europe, and Australia. Every year the Little 500 Festival selects a young lady from Madison County to receive a $1000 scholarship and to serve as Queen and a community ambassador for various events that take place during the Festival in May.
