Four Divisions Competing for Double Points

Weather has played havoc with racing at Anderson Speedway this spring but Saturday marks the spring championships for four local divisions.

Topping the racing card is the Late Model Division which has two races under their belts in 2025. The feature is set for 40 laps.

Defending track champion Jeff Marcum has scored two feature wins this year with Jason Shively posting two runner-up finishes.

The Vores Welding & Steel Street Stocks are also making their second appearance of the year and will be in action for 35 laps.

Alan Williams won the CRA Street Stock feature last weekend with defending track champion Andrew Cook coming home in second followed by James Kirby.

Cook set fast time in the first race of the year for the division which was won by Kirby with Cook and Calvin Parham finishing on the podium.

Defending Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drive Division champion Josh Ebbert Jr. opened defense of his title with a new track record during qualifying and a feature win.

Dylan Hoppes and Don VanValkenburg rounded out the top three.

The Knapp Supply Ford Division will be in action for the first time on the oval. Colson Gray scored his first ever Figure-8 win in the division’s only race this year.

The Midwest Champ Karts will be making their first appearance of the year.

Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and free for all kids 5 and under.
