Four Champions to be Crowned Saturday
ANDERSON – Anderson Speedway will be crowning four champions this weekend on Championship Night 2 with double points available.
With points awarded during qualifying, heat races and the feature event none of the titles have been secured.
The Late Models return to action where Jeff Marcum will be looking for an eighth championship. Marcum has scored three feature wins this season and leaders the duo of Nathan Greene and JP Crabtree by 52 points.
Crabtree is the most recent winner in the division.
James Kirby III is holding a 14-point lead over Andrew Cook in the Vores Welding & Steel Street Stock Division.
Kirby has scored two wins this season. Cook is the defending champion. Dalton Conner has won two feature events, but is not competing for the championship.
Defending Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drive champion Josh Ebbert has a 25-point lead over Sean Booker.
Ebbert has scored three feature wins this year.
John Robbins is looking to repeat as the Thunder Roadster champion and lead Doug Dugger by 60 points with the driving team of Cody Demer and Xavier King another three points back.
Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.
Adult tickets are $15, $5 for children 6 to 12 years old and free under five.
