Anderson Speedway returns to action this Saturday racing in five divisions with the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models topping the racing card.
Action will take place in the Late Models, Thunder Cars, the second appearance of the VROA Modifieds and the first appearances of the season by the CSR Minicups and Indy FasKarts.
Qualifying is set for 6:30 p.m. with racing action at 8 p.m.
Two time defending champion Jeff Marcum is a perfect three for three in McGunegill Engine Performance Late Model features this year.
He holds a 58 point lead over Kent Baledge with Danny Trent another 3-points back.
Ronnie Rose has won two of the three feature events in Thunder Cars action with Dustin Sapp the most recent winner.
Rose holds a seven-point lead over Earl Adams II in the championship point’s race.
Michigan driver Tom Boorsma will look to continue his dominance on the lightning fast high banked quarter-mile oval in VROA Modified action.
Boorma won the feature in the series first appearance and has a total of six wins at Anderson Speedway.
Adults tickets are $12, $4 for children between 6 and 12 years of age and under six admitted for free.
