The final stop in the Champion Racing Association’s Street Stock Triple Crown is set for Anderson Speedway on Saturday.
A strong field of Street Stock drivers in expected for the 200-lap event which includes defending champion Jason Atkinson.
Anderson’s Josh Poore won the opening event at Shady Bowl Speedway and Chuck Barnes Jr. won at Kentucky Speedway.
Poore is the only driver to record more than one victory in the annual 200-lap event winning back to back in 2012 and 2013 and winning a 300 lap event in 2010.
Mason Keller turned in an impressive performance last Saturday by winning the Street Stock tune-up feature. Other drivers on the early entry list are Jimmy Kirby, James Kirby III, Colby Lane, Tyler Marsh, Phil Jenkins and Andrew Teepe.
The Thunder Car Division returns for the first time since May 21 with Markleville driver Randy Hoppes looking to make it three consecutive wins.
Jeff Swinford is coming off back-to-back wins in the Harts Figure 8 Division where Shawn Cullen and Ronnie Rose have each scored feature wins.
Qualifying is set for 6:30 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m.
Adult tickets are priced at $12 with a $4 admission cost for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Children under the age of 4 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
