Action Entertainment has released the 2018 tentative racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates its 71st season on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. The Speedway will continue to showcase Late Models, Street Stocks, Figure 8’s, Thunder Roadsters, ThunderCars, and Front Wheel Drives.
The schedule is packed with many special events and touring series in an effort to give the fans a wide variety of entertainment. Highlighting these will be the 70th Annual Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM on May 26th with the top asphalt Sprint Car racers in the country and the return of nine-time winner, Eric Gordon.
The Redbud 400 will return on Monday, July 16. The racing lineup will feature the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models competing in a 400 lap event with live pit stop action.
Other special weekends on tap in 2018 include four non-winged sprint car events three of which will be Thursday Night Sprint Car Racing and the 3rd Annual Tony Elliott Classic on Saturday, October 6th during Paint the Night Pink. The ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models will make their first appearance of the season on May 5th. The Tom Wood Stock Car Festival will once again run on October 20th highlighting 9 divisions.
Several touring series will make visits to Anderson Speedway including Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series, ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models, CRA Late Model Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks, USSA UAW Made in America Mel Kenyon Midgets, VROA Modifieds, VORES Compact Touring Series, Midwest Champ Karts, and CSR Super Cups.
The Night of Thrills on September 1st and Figure 8 Madness on Wednesday, July 4th will continue to be some of the most popular and exciting nights at the Speedway.
For a limited time, Anderson Speedway is offering special ticket packages that include a 10 pack for $80 and a 20 pack for $150.
