Modifieds Set for 100-Lap Battle at Anderson Speedway
Anderson, Indiana – The USA Tire Modifieds have produced some of the most hotly contested racing at Anderson Speedway over the past several seasons, and the division is set for another major challenge this week with a 100-lap feature on tap.
Dalton Conner captured a 100-lap Modified feature at Anderson Speedway in 2024, with Colby Lane and Joe Beaver completing the podium.
The 2026 season has been another competitive one for the Modifieds. Defending track champion Josh Poore has scored two feature wins, while Conner has visited the Hoosier Lottery Victory Circle once. Tyler DeHart also broke into the win column in the most recent Modified event.
Poore currently leads the championship standings by 41 points over Conner. RJ Norton III sits another 13 points behind in third, followed by leading Rookie of the Year contender Josh Ebbert Jr. and Beaver.
The Beaver Contracting Thunder Roadsters will also return to action. Defending champion John Robbins has been dominant so far in 2026, winning all three feature events contested this season.
The Front Wheel Drive Division will return to the track as well. Caleb Southerland has collected three wins this season, while Gaige Hulett and Dustin Bartlett have also visited Victory Lane.
Bartlett, the winner of the division’s most recent 50-lap feature, leads the championship standings over Nick Warner and James Allender.
The Baby Grands will round out the night’s action. Danny Trent has collected three feature wins since 2019, while Kent Baledge has two victories during that span. Mark Lambert has also found his way to Victory Lane.
Qualifying is scheduled for 5:45 p.m., with racing set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Adult tickets are $15, children ages 6-12 are $5, and children five and under are admitted free.
