Anderson Speedway officials have announced that Saturday Night Racing on Saturday, August 1st has been canceled due to wet weather forecasts. Open Practice for All Divisions on Friday, July 31st is still on as scheduled. The Modified 100 has been rescheduled for August 29th. The remaining three divisions Baby Grands, Front Wheel Drives, and Beaver Contracting Thunder Roadsters do not have a rescheduled date at this time. Anderson Speedway will make an announcement if, and when, those divisions are rescheduled.
“We were really excited for the Modified 100 event at Anderson Speedway this weekend,” said Jared Owen, President of Anderson Speedway. “We expected one of our largest Modified car counts of the season, but with the forecast continuing to worsen and significant rainfall expected throughout Saturday, postponing the event was the right decision. We look forward to attempting this race for a third time on Saturday, August 29th, but for now our focus shifts to next weekend’s 77th Annual Pay Less Nation Crown. As always with this event, we are excited to put on a tremendous show for our fans, teams, and partners.”
