Indiana Crown Jewel – Redbud 400 – To Shine in July

There is only one crown jewel of the Hoosier State Super Late Model season in the summer months and that means Redbud 400 is right around the corner at Anderson Speedway in Indiana.

On Monday, July 12, the 55th version of the Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400 presented by Mitch Smith and Perfecto will take place on the quarter-mile bullring in the shadows of the big city of Indianapolis.

And while a stellar group of drivers are being assembled for this mid-week special, fans are encouraged to get their discounted tickets now.  General admission tickets are available currently at $20 per person.  On the day of the event those tickets will be $25 each.

DRIVER ENTRY FORM

“There is a lot of buzz about this year’s Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400,” said Rick Dawson, owner of Anderson Speedway.  “This race has so much history and it’s our biggest stock car turnout of the year.  Our local fans love it and we enjoy seeing all the fans that come from out of state to witness the pageantry and brutal competition of this race.”

Three legendary drivers are tied at the top of the all-time win list for the event.  NASCAR Hall of Famer Mark Martin, ASA legend Bob Senneker and three-time Champion Racing Association Super Series Champion Johnny VanDoorn each have three wins a piece in the historic event.

Michigan’s Carson Hocevar, driving under the tutelage of Johnny VanDoorn, won the 2020 version of the Redbud 400.

The event will again be sanctioned by the Champion Racing Association.

The one-day show will be a busy one at Anderson Speedway.  After car preparation and practice, qualifying is slated for Super Late Models at 4:30pm ET.  Fans will be treated to an autograph session at 5:30pm, with pre-race ceremonies and the race slated for 7:30pm.

Fans wishing to save $5 and purchase their tickets now for the Redbud 400 on Monday, July 12, can do so by calling the speedway office at 765-642-0206.
