Greater love hath no man than
this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 (KJV)
Greetings
in the name of Jesus!
On Sept. 11, 2001, tragedy struck America. We were attacked within our borders.
Our sense of security was struck down with the crash of a plane. Many innocent
people lost their lives that day. But greater still many people sacrificed their
lives that day. The passengers of the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania come
to mind. They gave their lives to stop that plane from reaching its destination.
Who knows how many lives they saved.
Having been a firefighter and a police officer my heart goes out to those
servants who lost their lives in this great tragedy. Unless you’ve been there
you can’t understand what it’s like when you look at your family and tell them
you’ll see them after work and wonder if you’re going to come back home when
your shift is over. These brave men and women deserve our thanks and our prayers
for their safety. They place their lives on the line for us every day. May God
Bless each of them.
Jesus gave his life for you so that you would not have to live eternally in a
devil’s hell. He gave his life freely. I wish I could put into words what that
means, but I can’t. He loved us that much that he would willingly suffer, and
die so that we might have eternal life. If you don’t know him I’d love to
introduce you to him, because he’s the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
He’ll never leave you. He’s my best friend and savior and without him I am
nothing and have no hope. I fall short of his love and mercy everyday but he
forgives me. I hope and pray this day that you’ll seek him out.
To by brother and sister public servants in the Police and Fire service I thank
you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to serve and protect us and I
pray for your safety daily.
On this weekend of remembrance, thank your firefighters and police officers, and
ambulance crews for being there and protecting you daily. They answered God’s
call to service. Let us never forget what happened that day.
If you have a prayer request, need someone to talk to, have a topic you want me
to write on, drop me a note. Let me know what you think about our weekly get
together here, good, bad or otherwise I’d love to hear from you. E-Mail reaches
me at

or see me at the track & I can
give you a donation envelope to mail in your contribution.
Go with God for he will always go with you!
Remember: It was love that held Christ to the Cross, not the nails.
May God Bless you & I’ll see you at the races this weekend!
