After taking a week off following the 71st running of the Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW, Anderson Speedway kicks off an action packed month of June. There are four special events throughout the month featuring Pro Late Models, Street Stocks, sprint cars and the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models. Action begins this Saturday during Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Double T Leather with the return of the Michigan based VROA Modifieds which is making their ninth visit to the lightning fast Anderson Speedway where the Boorsma family has been dominant.

The only time a Boorsma didn’t win in vintage modified competition was in 2017 when Jason Burrus scored the victory.
The VROA Modifieds are joined by the McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models where rookie driver Zachary Tinkle held off veteran Kent Baledge for his first career win in the division. Defending champion Jeff Marcum has won twice in 2019 including the first appearance of the Champion Racing Association Sportsman Late Models in April.
The PGG Thunder Cars will be competing in a 50-lap feature with Dale Harper winning the first 50-lap event and Dustin Sapp visiting victory lane the last time the division was in action.
The Vore’s Welding & Steel Street Stocks will be competing in a 35-lap feature. Josh Poore won the first event for the division and Bret Miles Jr. scored the CRA Street Stock win earlier this year.
The Marcum Welding Front Wheel Drive drivers will be in action where Alex Abbott scored his initial feature victory at Anderson Speedway.
