Anderson, Indiana (February 24, 2026) — Anderson Speedway officials have announced that Tyler Roahrig will be the first official entry into the 78th running of the Unified Group Services Little 500 presented by ED Martin Automotive Group.
Hailing from Plymouth, Indiana, Roahrig has established himself as one of the premier competitors in Little 500 competition over the past decade. In 10 career starts in the prestigious 500-lap sprint car classic, Roahrig has captured two victories (2021, 2022), earned two pole positions (2022, 2025), recorded four top-five finishes and five top-10 results.
Perhaps most impressively, Roahrig has led 873 laps in his Little 500 career. A testament to both his speed and consistency, while completing 3,581 laps in one of pavement sprint car racing’s most grueling events.
The two-time winner has become a fixture at the front of the field each May, showcasing the patience, race craft, and adaptability required to conquer 500 laps around the high-banked quarter-mile oval at Anderson Speedway. Whether charging from the front row or working through traffic, Roahrig has proven he is a constant contender when the stakes are highest.
Returning with support from CB Fabricating, Roahrig will once again look to add his name to the history books and contend for a third Little 500 victory in 2026.
The Little 500 remains one of the most prestigious events in pavement sprint car racing, featuring 33 starters, live pit stops, and 500 laps of non-stop intensity. With Tyler Roahrig officially entered, the countdown to the 78th running is underway.
The 78th Unified Group Little 500 presented by ED Martin Automotive Group week begins Wednesday May 20 for practice. CB Fabricating Pole Day is Thursday, May 21, and Bump Day is Friday, May 22. The historic 500 lap race is scheduled to start at 8:00pm on Saturday, May 23. Fans unable to attend in person can watch racing live on Racing America.
