Saturday Night Racing Canceled Due to Rain

Anderson Speedway officials have announced that Saturday Night Racing on Saturday, May 16th has been canceled due to wet weather forecasts. Open Practice for All Divisions, however, is still on as scheduled for Friday, May 15th. Pit gates for practice will open at 3:30pm and practice will be from 4:30pm until 7:30pm. Pit passes are $20 per person, and fans can watch practice for free by sitting in the pit grandstands.

“We really wanted to get this one in for our drivers, and our fans,” said Jared Owen – President of Anderson Speedway. “Unfortunately, Indiana weather has struck us once again. With the wet weather forecasted for this Saturday, we were not confident that we would be able to get this show in. We will shift our focus now to the Little 500, and we are excited to put on a great show for everyone next weekend!”

Anderson Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, May 23rd for the 78th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 presented by Ed Martin Automotive Group. The event will kick off on Wednesday, May 20th with Little 500 practice from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The front of the field will be set on CB Fabricating Pole Day on Thursday, May 21st. There will be a practice session from 11:30am to 1:15pm followed by Pole Day Qualifying from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The rest of the field will be set on Bump Day on Friday, May 22nd with the same practice and qualifying schedule as CB Fabricating Pole Day. Practice and qualifying days for the Little 500 are FREE to attend.

The 78th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 presented by Ed Martin Automotive Group will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 8:00pm. Tickets for the event are available now and are reserved seating only. All tickets are $45 and can be purchased online HERE or by calling Anderson Speedway Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm.
