Anderson Speedway officials have announced that the Open Practice for All Divisions scheduled for this Saturday, March 15th has been rescheduled for Friday, March 14th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. The change came after a careful review of weather conditions between the two days. With the chance of high winds and rain on Saturday, the decision was made to move the practice to Friday where weather is forecasted to be warm and dry.
Anderson Speedway will host two additional Open Practices before the 78th season of competition officially kicks off on Saturday, March 29th. Teams will be able to test their equipment on Saturday, March 22nd from 2pm to 5pm and again on Friday, March 28th from 4pm to 7pm.
Anderson Speedway will kick off its 78th Annual Season on Saturday, March 29th at 6:00pm. Modifieds, Beaver Contracting Legends, Knapp Supply Ford Division, and Beaver Contracting Thunder Roadsters will all be in action. Front Gates will open at 2:30pm, qualifications begin at 4:30pm, and racing will begin at 6:00pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, and FREE for kids 5 and under.
