Open Practice Cancelled for Sunday, March 24
Anderson Speedway officials have announced that the Open Practice for All Divisions scheduled for this Sunday, March 24th has been cancelled due to forecasted low temperatures. With high wind gusts and a wind chill projected in the low to mid 40’s, the decision was made to cancel the pre-season practice.
Anderson Speedway will host another Open Practice for All Divisions on Friday, March 29th ahead of the 77th Annual Opening Night scheduled for Saturday, March 30th. Pit gates for the Friday practice will open at 3:00pm and practice will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Pit passes will be $20 per person and fans will be able to watch practice for FREE by entering the pit gate and sitting in the pit grandstand.
Anderson Speedway is set to kick off its 77th season on Saturday, March 30th at 6:00pm. Modifieds, Legends, Thunder Roadsters, and the Ford Division will all be in racing action. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12. Kids aged 5 and under will be free. Gates open at 3:00pm with qualifications set for 4:30pm. The first green flag of the 2024 season will drop at 6:00pm.
