Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials, in conjunction with Anderson Speedway and Motion Motors, have announced that the Motion Motors 100 for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the Anderson McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models on Friday, June 13th at Anderson Speedway will pay $2,000 to win. This event is part of the traditional Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend, one of the premier stock car events in the country, held each year at the fast high-banked quarter mile.
“We really appreciate Jack Neal and Motion Motors for stepping up and making this our top paying event of the season for our Late Model Sportsman,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner with CRA. “With $2,000 on the line to win and a purse like this, the best Late Model Sportsman drivers from Indiana, Ohio and Michigan will be on hand to compete for the win in the Motion Motors 100!
The Motion Motors 100 will be 100 green flag laps and will be a point’s event for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and the Anderson MEP Late Models. The event will pay $1,200 for second, $800 for third and will pay $150 to start.

The Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend will begin with an open practice on Thursday, June 12th, pits will open at 4pm with practice going from 5 to 8pm. On Friday, June 13th, pits will open at 12noon, there will be an open practice for the Redbud 300 cars only from 1:30 until 3:30pm. Practice for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman will begin at 4:30pm, with qualifying at 6:15pm. Friday night’s race program will begin at 7:30 pm and will include the Motion Motors 100 for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman/Anderson MEP Late Models.
Pits open on Saturday, June 14th at 10am, there will be a two hour practice for the ARCA/CRA Super Series cars from 1 to 3pm, with qualifying for the Redbud 300 beginning at 4:15pm. There will be an on track autograph session with all the drivers starting at 6pm, the green flag for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 will drop at 7:30pm.
