Modified Division returns to action with a Tight Championship Point Race

The McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drive and Midwest Super Cups are on Saturday’s racing program.

Dalton Conner has won two of the Modified events including the 100-lap race earlier this year. Nathan Greene has also visited the Riley & Sons Victory Lane and veteran driver Joe Beaver is the most recent winner. Beaver holds a slim three point lead over Greene with Jake Owens third in points only 33 points behind the leader.

Multi-time Late Model champion Jeff Marcum is looking for his fourth win of the year. Marcum has won two of the Champion Racing Association events with JP Crabtree also a race winner.

In Front Wheel Drive action Austin Pursley is the most recent race winner and has two feature wins this season. Nick Warner and Josh Ebbert Jr. have both scored victories.

Ebbert has a 29-point lead over Dylan Hoppes with Pursley sitting third in points.

Qualifying is set for 5:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and free for all kids 5 and under.
