ANDERSON, IN — Anderson Speedway is set to celebrate America with a full night of racing action as the Madison County Celebrates America 250 comes to the historic quarter-mile oval. Fans will be treated to four divisions of racing and a packed night of competition, highlighted by a 100-lap battle from the Vores Compact Touring Series. The HRA Late Model Division will compete in the 75 Lap Tanner Ballard Classic.
The Vores Compact Touring Series will headline the evening with a grueling 100-lap feature, putting both driver skill and race strategy to the test. With 100 laps around Anderson Speedway’s tight, high-banked oval, competitors will have plenty of opportunities to make their move while trying to preserve their equipment for the closing laps. Expect close-quarters racing and plenty of action from the opening green flag to the checkered flag.
Justin Brown will be one driver to watch in the Vores Compact Touring Series. Brown captured the Phil Illiff Classic on Opening Night at Anderson Speedway on April 11, giving him an early-season victory at the quarter-mile oval. He will look to return to victory lane when the series takes on another 100-lap challenge.
The HRA Late Model Sportsman will also be in action with a 75-lap feature, while the HRA Street Stocks will battle for 75 laps of their own. Both divisions have become staples of the Anderson Speedway racing program, and their 75-lap contests are sure to provide plenty of door-to-door competition as drivers look to add another victory to their season.
James Kirby III enters the HRA Street Stock event looking to add another Anderson Speedway victory to his resume. Kirby won the HRA Street Stock 150 earlier this season as a tune-up for the CB Fabricating Redbud 400, proving he has the speed to contend in longer-distance competition at Anderson.
In the HRA Late Model Sportsman division, Ryder VanAlst will be looking to continue his strong 2026 season. VanAlst captured the HRA Late Model 75 on August 8 and went on to claim the 2026 Vern’s Concrete Late Model Track Championship. With another 75-lap feature remembering former late model Tanner Ballard on the schedule, VanAlst will look to close out his championship season with another trip to victory lane.
Rounding out the night’s racing will be the Beaver Contracting Legends, who will take on a 25-lap feature. The Legends’ combination of speed, close racing and competitive fields makes them a perfect addition to an already action-packed night at the Speedway.
The Madison County Celebrates America 250 offers an affordable night of family entertainment, with adult tickets priced at just $15, kids ages 6-12 admitted for $5, and children 5 and under admitted free.
Pit gates will open at 12:30 p.m., with front gates opening and practice beginning at 2:30 p.m. The racing action is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m.
