Back-to-Back Action!

ANDERSON – As a result of a rain delay, racing action returns to Anderson Speedway this Saturday.

It was originally scheduled as an off weekend as preparations for the 77th running of the Unified Group Services Little 500 takes center stage next weekend.

The Modified Division returns for a second consecutive week. Last weekend there were 19 competitors at the track with Josh Poore setting a new track record during qualifying.

Poore held off Dalton Connor for the victory in a race that remained undecided until the final lap.

The Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drive division returns to action where 20 drivers competing in the first event.

Defending champion Josh Ebbert set a new track record and then went on to win the first feature race over Dylan Hoppes.

At one point during the waning laps, Ebbert made a three-wide pass of two lapped cars to maintain the point.

The Knapp Supply Ford Division will be in action for the first time on the oval and a strong field of cars is expected.

Qualifying is set for 6 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and free for all kids 5 and under.
