Back Home Again to Anderson Speedway

Anderson, IN – The ASA STARS National Tour will return to action this weekend for the 58th Annual Redbud 400. ASA has a storied history at Anderson Speedway as this was the birthplace and home of ASA for many years. A who’s who of Pavement Super Late Model racing is entered for Saturday’s 400-lap event.

There will be plenty of local flavor in the field this Saturday night, July 20th. CRA standouts Cody Coughlin, Billy Van Meter, Chase Burda, and Blake Rowe will be competing. Avon, IN native Scotty Tomasik will be on hand as well. Making the short drive from Muncie, IN, J.P Crabtree will also be running the 400-lap event.

The stars of pavement Super Late Model racing are ready to roll for this Saturday night as well. ASA STARS National Tour point leader, Casey Roderick, will look to keep his point lead, while last year’s Redbud winner, Cole Butcher, will look to go back-to-back. Florida fan favorite, Stephen Nasse, is set to take on the tight quarter-mile oval. Young up and comers Dawson Sutton, Gio Ruggiero, Caden Kvapil, Kyle Steckly, and Derek Kraus are all looking to add their names to the list of Redbud 400 winners. Austin Nason will be one to keep an eye on. Nason has lots of knowledge and experience on tight quarter-mile ovals.

Advance sale, discount tickets for the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour Redbud 400 event are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Anderson Speedway ticket office or online HERE! Advance sale tickets are $20 for adults through Friday, July 19th and go up to $25 on Saturday, July 20th (Race Day). Tickets for kids aged 6-12 will be $10 and kids aged 5 and under will be free. Seating for this event is general admission seating.

Hauler parking, tech inspection, and practice are scheduled for Friday, July 19. Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the 400-lap STARS main event are set for Saturday, July 20.

The return of the ASA STARS National Tour to Anderson will take place in conjunction with Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s huge Brickyard 400 Weekend, as well as ARCA and NASCAR Truck Series events at Indianapolis Raceway Park. The Redbud 400 start time has been moved back to 8:00PM Eastern Time, allowing fans to make the trek northeast from INDY to catch the stars and cars of ASA.

ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different racetracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
