Action Entertainment has released the tentative 2016 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates its 69th season on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. The Speedway will continue to showcase Late Models, Figure 8’s, Pro Compacts, Thunder Roadster and the return of the ThunderCars.
The schedule is packed with many special events and touring series in an effort to give the fans a wide variety of entertainment. Highlighting these will be the 68th Annual Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM on May 28th with the top asphalt Sprint Car racers in the country. Leading up to the historic event, the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series will be racing in their annual Wednesday night event.
One of Late Model Crown events, Late Model Weekend is on July 15-16. The racing lineup features the CRA Late Model Sportsman on Friday evening with the Saturday finale showcasing the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models.
Other special weekends on tap in 2016 include two non-winged sprint car events, the Glen Niebel Classic on April 23rd and the Inaugural Tony Elliott Classic on October 8 during Paint the Pink. The ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models will make their first appearance of the season on May 7. The 2016 season will wrap up on November 5th with the always exciting Turkey Bash.
Several touring series will make visits to Anderson Speedway including Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series, ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models, CRA Late Model Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks, USSA Mel Kenyon Midgets, JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour, VROA Modifieds, VORES Compact Touring Series, Indy Faskarts, and CSR Super Cups.
The Stoops Freightliner Night of Thrills on September 3rd and Figure 8 Madness on July 4th will continue to be some of the most popular and exciting nights at the Speedway.
For a limited time, Anderson Speedway is offering special ticket packages that include 10 pack for $80 and 20 pack for $150. Stop by the main ticket office Monday through Friday from 10a.m. to 4p.m. to pick up your tickets or contact the ticket line to secure your discounted tickets.
