For the fourth time this season Anderson’s Noah Allison set fast time and then went on to win the feature in the Vintage Wrench Ford Pro Division. Allison set fast time on Harrah’s Hoosier Park Night at Anderson Speedway barely holding off Allen Wagner and Randy Owen. Seven drivers qualified within a half-second of each other. Mike Phipps led the entire distance in the heat race with Owen and Allison close behind.
In the feature race Allison started fourth following the inversion which allowed Owen to take the early lead. Allison was running in second after the opening lap and took the point from Owen with an inside pass entering turn three. There was one caution flag on lap 14 when Dawson West and Wagner tangled, which sent both drivers to the tail of the field. Owen took the lead for one circuit on the restart with an outside move on the front straight as he raced side by side with Allison. But Allison retook the lead from Owen entering turn three and went on to win by 1.8-second with Mike Phipps coming home in third.
