Saturday Night Racing Postponed Due to Rain
Anderson Speedway officials have announced that Saturday Night Racing on Saturday, July 18th has been postponed due to wet weather forecasts. Open Practice for All Divisions on Friday has been canceled. The Modified 100 has been rescheduled for August 1. The remaining three divisions All Star National Midget Series, Beaver Contracting Legends, and Knapp Supply Crown Vics have been moved to a newly created race date of Saturday, October 10. An open practice has been added on Friday, July 31.
“We were really excited for the America 250 event at Anderson Speedway,” said Jared Owen, President of Anderson Speedway. “We anticipated one of our highest car counts of the season, but with the forecast continuing to worsen and significant rainfall expected throughout Saturday, postponing the event was the right decision. Our focus now shifts to next weekend’s 60th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400, and we’re excited to put on a tremendous show for our fans, teams, and partners.”
Anderson Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, July 25 for the 60th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400. The event will kick off on Friday, July 24th with Redbud 400 practice from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Returning for the first time in many years is a pit stop competition! The pit stop competition will take place at the conclusion of practice. It is free for fans to watch.
The 60th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400 will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 7:30pm. Tickets for the event are available now and are general admission seating. Adult Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on raceday, Kids ages (6-12) are $10, Ages 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online HERE or by calling Anderson Speedway, Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. The race will be streamed live on Racing America.
