Madison County Celebrates America 250 Features 250 Laps of High-Intensity Racing
ANDERSON, Ind. – Anderson Speedway will celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Saturday with an action-packed night featuring four divisions and 250 laps of feature racing during the Madison County Celebrates America 250.
The evening is highlighted by the USA Tire Modifieds competing in a 100-lap feature as one of the closest championship battles of the season continues.
Anderson’s Josh Poore has claimed two of the four Modified features contested this season, while Dalton Connor earned the other victory before Tyler DeHart captured his first career Modified win in the most recent event. DeHart charged past leading Rookie of the Year contender Josh Ebbert Jr. late in the race to score the breakthrough victory.
Poore enters Saturday atop the championship standings, followed by Connor, RJ Norton III, Ebbert and veteran Joe Beaver. With fewer than 100 points separating the top five drivers, every lap in the 100-lap feature could prove crucial in the title chase.
The All Star Midget Series will make its first appearance at Anderson Speedway this season, bringing several drivers familiar to fans of the Unified Group Services Little 500.
Kody Swanson opened the season with a victory at Owosso Speedway, while Kyle Hamilton and Thomas O’Gara have also visited Victory Lane with wins at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park and Plymouth Speedway, respectively. Ryan Newman has recorded two podium finishes this season, and Tommy Trainor has stood on the podium in all three series events.
The Beaver Contracting Legends return after last weekend’s 30th running of the Fritz/Dietzen Memorial. Xavier King has won the last two feature races and enters the weekend holding a slim seven-point advantage over defending champion John Robbins. Caleb Burge sits third in the championship standings as the title battle remains tight.
The Knapp Supply Ford Division continues to showcase its parity with six different winners through the opening portion of the season. Drew Evans became the latest winner, joining Ronnie Phipps, Josh Sage, Jaden Tharp, Rickie Tharp and Curtis Chapman as feature winners in 2026.
In the championship standings, Colin Grissom leads Noah Allison by just nine points, while Chapman is only 18 points behind the leader, setting up another important night in the title chase.
Qualifying begins at 5:30 p.m., with racing scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
General admission is $18 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.
