Joe Balash Named Vice President of Operations at Anderson Speedway
ANDERSON, Ind. — Anderson Speedway is proud to announce the appointment of Joe Balash as Vice President of Operations. A highly respected leader in the motorsports industry, Balash brings decades of experience at the highest levels of racing, including key leadership roles within NASCAR’s Busch Series (now the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series) and most recently the NASCAR Euro Series.
In his new role, Balash will primarily oversee all race related operational aspects of Anderson Speedway, working to enhance the race day experience for fans and drivers, strengthen partnerships, and continue the track’s long-standing tradition of excellence in grassroots motorsports.
Balash’s career spans a wide range of leadership positions across the racing world. During his tenure with NASCAR he held a Series Director role of the then Busch Series and current O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Balash also served as the International Competition Liaison with NASCAR, and served as the Senior Vice-President of Operations for the American Speed Association. More recently, Balash held the position of Director of Racing Operations at track Enterprises before returning to NASCAR as the Sporting and Technical Director of EuroNASCAR.

With the announcement former Vice President of Operations, Jared Owen has been elevated to President of Anderson Speedway.
