CB Fabricating to Sponsor Historic Redbud 400 Again in 2026
Anderson, Indiana – Anderson Speedway is proud to announce CB Fabricating as the official title sponsor of the 60th Annual Redbud 400, one of the Midwest’s premier short track racing events, for the second consecutive year. The iconic race, scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, will be known as the 60th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400.
CB Fabricating, based in Anderson, Indiana, is a leader in precision sheet metal fabrication and a strong supporter of local events, youth programs, and motorsports. Their commitment to excellence and community engagement makes them an ideal partner for this prestigious race.
“Chris Barkdull and CB Fabricating have been tremendous supporters of Anderson Speedway and entering the second year of CB Fabricating as the entitlement sponsor of the Redbud 400 speaks volumes about the strength of our relationship,” said Jared Owen, Anderson Speedway Vice President of Operations. “This partnership goes well beyond the racetrack — it’s a long-standing friendship built on trust and shared values. We’re grateful for Chris’s continued belief in what we’re building, and we’re proud to have CB Fabricating’s name once again headlining one of our marquee events.”
Founded by Chris Barkdull, CB Fabricating has grown into a respected name in the metal fabrication industry, serving clients nationwide. Barkdull, a longtime motorsports enthusiast and Anderson Speedway supporter, expressed his excitement about supporting the Redbud 400:
“CB Fabricating has been a longtime supporter of short track racing at Anderson Speedway. The storied history of the Redbud is what makes this race so special, with many young drivers of the past and future cutting their teeth right here in Anderson, Indiana. Names like Mark Martin, Alan Kulwicki, Kyle Busch, Eric Jones, and Carson Hocevar who all went on to become NASCAR stars. I am very excited about this event focusing on local divisions and local drivers as we continue to build up our community and showcase what Anderson, Indiana has to offer.”
For the first time in the six-decade history of the event, the Redbud will be headlined by Anderson Speedway Late Models and Vore’s Welding & Steel Street Stocks, marking a major shift and a return to the event’s grassroots by showcasing local race cars and local teams. The anniversary edition of the Redbud represents a celebration of both heritage and community. Traditionally known for hosting national-level super late model competition, the 2026 Redbud pivots toward honoring the foundational divisions that have long shaped Anderson Speedway’s identity. The decision reconnects the Redbud with its earliest spirit — intense short-track battles fought by hometown racers — and renews its commitment to local racing culture.
