Anderson Speedway Announces 2026 Schedule

Anderson, Indiana: Action Entertainment Inc. has released the 2026 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway to celebrate the 79th season of racing at the high-banked quarter-mile oval.

The 78th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 presented by Ed Martin Automotive Group will once again headline the season in its usual Memorial Day Weekend slot on Saturday, May 23rd. The Annual Little 500 Sprint Car Classic will boast its traditional starting field of eleven rows of three with the best sprint cars drivers in the country battling it out for 500 laps. Jake Trainor went to victory lane in the 2025 edition of the Little 500 en route to his second Little 500 victory.

The Little 500 will be one of three events for the 500 Sprint Car Tour at Anderson Speedway in 2026. The non-wing sprint car series will make their first trip to Anderson on April 18th for the 26th running of the Glen Niebel Classic. The event will be used as a tune up race for the 78th Annual Little 500. The 500 Sprint Car Tour will make their third and final appearance at Anderson on Saturday, September 26th in the 11th Annual Tony Elliott Classic.

The 60th Annual Redbud 400 weekend will return to Anderson on Saturday, July 24th – 25th. The event will take on a new form in 2026 as it will no longer be a single, 400 lap event with the ASA Stars National Tour. Instead, the event will now showcase local talents from the Anderson Speedway Late Model and Street Stock divisions with a 200-lap race for each division. The weekend will feature a practice day on Friday, July 24th as well as weekend long camping available for fans, teams, and drivers.

Another staple on the Anderson Speedway calendar returns with the 77th Annual National Crown race on August 8th. The race, which is the longest continuous stock car race in America, will once again feature the FORD Division Figure 8. Curtis Chapman drove to his third National Crown victory in an exciting 76th Annual National Crown in August of 2025.

Fan favorite events will return to Anderson Speedway with the 4th of July Figure 8 Madness on Saturday, July 4th, and Night of Thrills on Saturday, September 5th. Both events will see amazing figure 8 racing including the FORD Division, Front Wheel Drives, School Bus figure 8’s, and the Prairie Farms Trailer Races. Not to mention an amazing firework display following racing action on July 4th.

Seven local divisions will be highlighted throughout the season at Anderson Speedway. Late Models (Premier Division), Vore’s Welding & Steel Street Stocks, Front Wheel Drives, FORD Division, Modifieds, Legends, and Thunder Roadsters. Some events to look forward to will be the 77th Annual National Crown race with the FORD Division, the Grant Fritz/Greg Dietzen Memorial (50 Laps) for the Legends on July 11th, and a 100-lap event for the Modifieds on July 18th. The FORD Division and Front Wheel Drives will also compete in 50 lap events on Saturday, July 11th along with the Fritz/Dietzen Memorial. The Vore’s Welding & Steel Street Stocks will also compete in a traditional Street Stock 150 as a tune up event for their 200 lap event at the Redbud 400. The Street Stock 150 event will be on Saturday, June 20th. Season Championships will once again be split up into two separate racing nights on Friday, August 21st and Saturday, August 22nd.

Figure 8 racing will be back in full swing at Anderson Speedway in 2026. The FORD Division will compete in four Figure 8 events in 2026 beginning on Saturday, June 13th and ending with the Season Finale on Saturday, October 3rd. The series will also be competing on the 4th of July as a tune up for the National Crown. Outlaw Figure 8 racing will be back with two events in 2026 following a successful return to Anderson Speedway action in 2024. The series will be competing alongside the FORD Division on the June 13th and October 3rd dates.

New for 2026 is the addition of the Monster Truck Throwdown events on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. The two day event will see exciting Monster Truck action on Anderson’s famous grounds. Each day will be packed with action with Ride-alongs happening in the pits, opportunities to meet the competitors, and two 2.5 hour Monster Truck shows. The event brings a new, exciting, family friendly event to Anderson Speedway as a way to provide entertainment to gear heads, and non traditional racing fans alike.

The 2026 season will also see a couple of new divisions make their Anderson Speedway debuts. The Outlaw 350 Super Modified Sprint Series, Mini Outlaws, Tri State Sprints, and the Great Lakes Truck Tour will all be competing at Anderson Speedway in 2026. Born from the CSR Super Truck Series, which has competed at Anderson Speedway in the past, The Great Lakes Truck Tour will be making their Anderson Speedway debut on Saturday, May 2nd. Mini Outlaws will be making two trips to Anderson in 2026 on Saturday, June 27th and Saturday, October 3rd. They will be joined on their May 2nd date by the Tri State Sprints as both series will be making their debuts at Anderson. The Outlaw 350 Super Modified Sprint Series will make their first appearance at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, August 29th.

The VORES Compact Touring Series will make two visits to Anderson Speedway in 2026. The first will come in a Spring showcase on April 11th alongside the FORD Division, Modifieds, and Legends. The second will come in a 100-lap event on Saturday, September 19th. They will be joined by Late Models, Street Stocks, and Legends for their final events for the 2026 season.

From now until January 31st, 2026, Anderson Speedway will be offering a special 10-pack ticket option for $120.
