ANDERSON – During the past few running’s of the Tony Elliott Classic at Anderson Speedway only three drivers have visited the winner’s circle.
The 500 Sprint Car Tour returns to Anderson Speedway on a night sponsored by CB Fabricating for a 100-lap feature this Saturday to close out the 2025 season.
The 10th running of the Tony Elliott Classic is the penultimate event in the 2025 schedule with the final race set for Oct. 18 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Current point leader Dakoda Armstrong is looking for his third consecutive win in the Tony Elliott Classic.
Tyler Roahrig has won the Classic three times in 2018, 2019 and 2021 with Bobby Santos III winning in 2020 and 2022.
Local driver Aaron Pierce, a frequent winner in Sprint Car action at Anderson Speedway will be returning for the first time in several years as a driver.
Kody Swanson, Jackson Macenko, Chris Neuenschwander and Nathan Bryd are among the entries. Several Madison County drivers will be in action including Jake McElfresh and Colin Grissom.
The Kenyon Midget Series will be in action in two 25-lap features where Indianapolis veteran Dameron Taylor is on the verge of winning a fourth championship title.
Other top competitors include Isaac Johnson, Evan Hammond, Landon Brown and Kyle Sheard. Andrew Wall is the leading Redline Ace Rookie of the Year driver with a lead over Clayton Bohanon.
Johnson, Brown and Hammond are all first-time winners with the Kenyon Midget Series this year.
The Beaver Construction Legends return for a final night of racing along with the Midwest Champ Carts.
Qualifying is set for 4:30 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m. Adult tickets are $18, $5 for children 6 to 12 years old and free under five.
