Chaotic Bump Day Sets Field For 77th Little 500
Bump Day at the 77th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 Presented By UAW lived up to his name, proving to be one of the wildest Little 500 Friday’s in recent years.
Improved track conditions compared to CB Fabricating Pole Day Thursday night led to some drivers electing to withdraw their times in search for a better starting spot in Saturday night’s race. In total, 11 different drivers turned in a new qualifying time on Friday, with nine of them having bumped back into the field at one point.
Garrett Saunders turned the quickest qualifying time of the afternoon with a 45.355, which put him in the 16th starting spot. Anthony Nocella qualified 20th after having his time disallowed last night, while Landon Butler qualified 23rd for his first Little 500 after he was unable to turn a time Thursday night.
Bryan Gossel, David Goodwill and Tony Main are the drivers qualified on the final row for tomorrow’s race. Chris Jagger, Nathan Byrd and Jerry Kobza are the three alternates for the race.

The 77th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 8:00pm. Tickets for the event are available now and are reserved seating only. All tickets are $45 and can be purchased online HERE or at the track.
