Anderson, Indiana: Action Entertainment Inc. has released the 2025 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway to celebrate the 78th season of racing at the high-banked quarter-mile oval.
The 77th Annual Little 500 will once again headline the season in its usual Memorial Day Weekend slot on Saturday, May 24th. The Annual Little 500 Sprint Car Classic will boast its traditional starting field of eleven rows of three with the best sprint cars drivers in the country battling it out for 500 laps. Caleb Armstrong went to victory lane in the 2024 edition of the Little 500 and for his first Little 500 victory.
The Little 500 will be one of three events for the 500 Sprint Car Tour at Anderson Speedway in 2025. The non-wing sprint car series will make their first trip to Anderson on April 5th for the 25th running of the Glen Niebel Classic. The event will be used as a tune up race for the 76th Annual Little 500. The 78th racing season at Anderson Speedway will end on Saturday, October 4th as the 500 Sprint Car Tour makes their final appearance of the season in the 10th Annual Tony Elliott Classic.
The 59th Annual Redbud 400 will return to Anderson on Saturday, July 26th. The race will feature Super Series Late Models competing in a 400-lap event with pit stop action. Kyle Steckly piloted his way to victory lane in the 58th Annual Redbud 400 for his first Redbud victory. The event will once again be sanctioned by the ASA Stars National Tour and will be competed on the Saturday before the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Nascar Cup Series.
Another staple on the Anderson Speedway calendar returns with the 76th Annual National Crown race on August 2nd. The race, which is the longest continuous stock car race in America, will once again feature the FORD Division Figure 8. Michael Phipps drove to victory in an exciting 75th Annual National Crown in August of 2024.
Fan favorite events will return to Anderson Speedway with the 4th of July Figure 8 Madness on Friday, July 4th, and Night of Thrills on Saturday, August 30th. Both events will see amazing figure 8 racing including the FORD Division, Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drives, School Bus figure 8’s, and the Prairie Farms Trailer Races. Not to mention an amazing firework display following racing action on July 4th.
Seven local divisions will be highlighted throughout the season at Anderson Speedway. Late Models (Premier Division), Vore’s Welding & Steel Street Stocks, Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drives, FORD Division, Modifieds, Legends, and Thunder Roadsters. Some events to look forward to will be the 76th Annual National Crown race with the FORD Division, the Grant Fritz/Greg Dietzen Memorial (50 Laps) for the Legends on September 27th, and a 200-lap event for the Late Models on July 12th. The FORD Division and Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drives will also compete in 50 lap events on Saturday, September 27th along with the Fritz/Dietzen Memorial. Season Championships will once again be split up into two separate racing nights on Saturday, August 16th and Saturday, August 23rd.
Figure 8 racing has officially returned to Anderson Speedway. The FORD Division will compete in four Figure 8 events in 2025 beginning on Saturday, April 12 and ending with the National Crown on August 2nd. The series will also be competing on the 4th of July as a tune up for the National Crown. The fourth Figure 8 race will come on Saturday, June 21st along with the much anticipated return of an Outlaw Figure 8 race. This will be the first Outlaw Figure 8 race at Anderson Speedway since 2019.
Several touring series will make visits to Anderson Speedway including the ASA Stars National Tour, JEGS All-Star Tour, CRA Late Model Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks, USSA Kenyon Midgets, VORES Compact Touring Series, Midwest Champ Karts, 500 Sprint Car Tour.
Long distance street stock races have been a mainstay at Anderson Speedway for the past decade. In 2025 two 150 CRA Street Stock races will make their way onto the schedule (June 14th and August 9th).
The VORES Compact Touring Series will make three visits to Anderson Speedway in 2025. The first will come in a Spring showcase on April 26th alongside the CRA Sportsman Late Models and CRA Street Stocks. The second will come in a NEW Christmas in July event on Saturday, July 19th. This will be a 100 lap event along with Modifieds, Marcum’s Welding Front Wheel Drives, and Thunder Roadsters. The final event for the VCTS will be on September 13th for First Responders night in another package with CRA Street Stocks and CRA Late Models.
From now until January 31st, 2025, Anderson Speedway will be offering special ticket packages that include a 10 pack for $120 and a 20 pack for $240.
